The Senior Project Manager
is responsible for overseeing multiple interior design projects simultaneously, ensuring each project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams while providing leadership and mentorship throughout every phase of the project.
This is not a general construction project management role. Candidates must have significant experience managing commercial interior design projects and coordinating construction documentation, specifications, and construction administration.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple commercial interior design projects from programming through project completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
- Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Review and approve construction documents, drawing packages, finish schedules, and specifications prior to issuance.
- Oversee the construction administration process, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, punch lists, and field observations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ADA Accessibility Standards and building codes.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and exceptional service.
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience within a commercial interior design or architecture firm.
- Demonstrated experience managing hospitality, multifamily, restaurant, retail, mixed-use, or commercial interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, specifications, and construction administration.
- Thorough understanding of ADA Accessibility Standards and applicable building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and construction teams.
- Ability to work independently while leading collaborative project teams.

- Procore (Preferred)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project scheduling and project management software is a plus.
