I'm currently working on a Textile Designer / Production Artist opportunity with an established and highly respected company in the textile and hospitality design industry. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of design and is looking to grow within a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Be Doing

+ Create custom textile designs and production-ready artwork for hospitality and commercial interior projects.

+ Adapt and develop designs using existing patterns, materials, and assets from an extensive design library.

+ Execute creative concepts while ensuring alignment with client specifications, brand standards, and project requirements.

+ Prepare production files and maintain accuracy throughout the design process.

+ Review printed samples and physical materials to evaluate color, pattern, scale, and overall design quality.

+ Collaborate with designers, production teams, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are executed successfully.

+ Follow established workflows, approval processes, and production procedures.

+ Balance creative thinking with production feasibility, quality standards, and project timelines.

This is a full-time onsite position in Fort Lauderdale. The team highly values in-person collaboration, particularly during onboarding and training, as physical sample reviews, printed materials, and color accuracy are important aspects of the role.

Please Note:

This is a mid-level opportunity targeting candidates with approximately 2-5 years of experience. Candidates seeking a Senior Textile Designer position may be overqualified for this role.

Requirements

What They're Looking For

+ 2-5 years of experience in textile design, production art, surface pattern design, or a related creative field.

+ Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

+ Ability to work within established design systems, brand guidelines, and creative frameworks.

+ Strong eye for color, pattern, detail, and production quality.

+ Comfortable adapting, revising, and refining existing concepts rather than creating every design from a blank canvas.

+ Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

+ Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from an experienced design leadership team.

+ Experience in textiles, hospitality, interiors, fashion, surface pattern design, print design, or production art is highly preferred.
