: Youth Build Manager
๐ Location: 90% Whidden Rogers Educational Center, Ft. Lauderdale FL and 10% Junior Achievement of South Florida, Coconut Creek, FL๐
Schedule: M-F 9:00 AM โ 6:00 PM.
๐ This is an Onsite position with earlier mornings, and some evenings required.๐

Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA) empowers our youth with the knowledge, ability, and confidence to navigate their futures, drive our economy and lead our community. Last year, with the help of over 7,100 trained corporate and community volunteers, JA delivered over 20 various programs to almost 50,000 students in classrooms throughout Broward and south Palm Beach counties and at JA World Huizenga Center at the Lillian S.

The Youth Build Manager reports directly to the Youth Build/ Pre-Apprenticeship Director to implement, maintain, and sustain the Youth Build program at Junior Achievement of South Florida. This position is intended to coordinate facilities, materials, and equipment planning for training sites. The Youth Build Manager will manage critical logistics and organizational tasks related to the Youth Build program for high school and post-high school participants.
The Youth Build Manager will provide a consistent presence at the various training sites and serve internal and external customers.
Also, in this role, it is important to have the ability to disseminate knowledge and curriculum by having strong facilitation skills. The Youth Build Manager is a salaried position and requires a flexible work schedule. The position may require early mornings and/or evenings and occasional weekends. This position requires very strong organizational skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Manage one direct report to ensure they meet their identified goals.
- Manage program/project teams using JAโs project management tools.
- Provide oversight and direction to the members of the team in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members that fosters creativity, diversity, problem-solving, innovative solutions, authenticity, honesty, respect, and a commitment to the mission.
- Encourage a team culture that is consistent with JASFโs mission, vision, and values.
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
- Develop and implement student recruitment plan/strategy to ensure annual growth and apprentice quality control.
- Create, update and facilitate the Youth Build program curriculum for students (Teach and implement Youth Build curriculum i.e. developing presentations, activities, ice breakers and overall program day run-of-days).
- Plan, organize and implement all Youth Build Program days and activities.
