Position DetailsMath and Reading Intervention Teacher – Part‑Time and Full‑Time | Broward County, FL
- Positions are for the upcoming school year
- Sessions take place during regular school hours
- Grades K-12 (varies depending on school assignment)
- Part‑time: 10‑25 hours per week
- Full‑time: 30‑35 hours per week
- Schools are located throughout the county
- Pay: $27 per hour
Positions with 25 or more hours per week are eligible for salaried compensation; 30 or more hours per week are eligible for insurance benefits and a 401(k) plan with company match.
Responsibilities- Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face‑to‑face school setting.
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills using company‑designed materials.
- Develop and maintain individualized skill‑appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure student supervision at all times, escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations; climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
- Complete data entry promptly: student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent/classroom teacher communications, and compliance documentation.
- Schedule and attend parent meetings and conferences.
- Maintain student forms and files in accordance with company, state, and federal requirements.
- Communicate consistently with supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
- Differential instruction: customize lessons and use data to meet student needs; engage students: foster ownership, critical thinking, clear routines; professional growth: embrace training, coaching, feedback; track progress with accurate records.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Valid and current FL Teaching Certificate/Statement of Eligibility.
- Experience in classroom teaching, internship, or tutoring.
- Ability to teach Math and Reading/ELA across grade levels.
- Proficiency navigating online platforms for record keeping and communication.
- Belief that all children can learn.
- Passion for helping students.
