Essential Job Functions:
- Prepares and delivers instruction to OPT. students and/or graduate students.
- Facilitates activities in the classroom or laboratory.
- Acts as a liaison between the students and the faculty course coordinator.
- Provides and facilitates examinations. May include assigning grades consistent with course requirements.
- Teaches or facilitates classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and to meet the expectations of the College as assigned by the designated faculty course coordinator.
- Follows the course curriculum as assigned.
- Prepares assignments.
- Evaluates student performance and learning.
- Maintains an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
- Adjuncts working in the laboratories may also engage in patient or healthcare professional role play, small group discussions, and skill facilitation.
- Required to complete NSU mandatory training. For example, HIPAA compliance, technology training, Canvas training, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by either the Chair, Assistant Dean, or faculty course coordinator.

Doctoral Degree in related discipline
