City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring in math and English to help students stay on track academically.
• Build positive relationships with students as a mentor and role model, encouraging attendance and engagement.
• Track and report student progress using school and City Year tools and data systems.
• Collaborate with teachers and City Year teammates to plan and deliver interventions and classroom activities.
• Support whole-school initiatives such as assemblies, family events, and service projects.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and leadership development provided by City Year.
