As part of our transportation team, you’ll support the delivery of impactful infrastructure projects across the state. You’ll apply your roadway and highway design knowledge—particularly with FDOT and local Florida agencies—to solve engineering challenges and help develop innovative, sustainable transportation solutions.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands‑on experience collaborating with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. We encourage our team members to explore new ideas and contribute to solutions that enhance everyday mobility.

• Support roadway design efforts for FDOT, county, and municipal transportation projects across Florida
• Prepare and assist in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway and highway improvements
• Perform roadway design tasks such as alignments, cross sections, and roadway components using Civil 3D or Micro Station/Open Roads
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teammates and subconsultants to ensure cohesive project deliverables
• Contribute to QA/QC processes to support high‑quality engineering output
• Ensure design work complies with applicable standards, procedures, and guidelines

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of professional experience in roadway or highway design
• Experience working on FDOT, county, or municipal transportation projects
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or Micro Station/Open Roads

• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain a PE license
• Familiarity with FDOT standards, processes, and production workflows
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
• Experience in horizontal and vertical alignment design and development of roadway construction plan components

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
