Senior Registered Surveyor - Fort Lauderdale
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Registered Surveyor to support the leadership and growth of our Surveying team. This role bridges strategic leadership and project execution—overseeing multiple municipal and public-sector projects, supporting team development and assisting in operational and business initiatives. The Senior Registered Surveyor plays a key role in ensuring design quality, managing resources, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the firm’s continued success and expansion.
Responsibilities- Work directly with our office team while supervising and managing field and office technicians
- Prepare scopes of work and price competitive land surveying proposals
- Conduct and perform boundary and topographical surveys, construction layouts, subdivision plats, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
- Proficiency with GPS, Robotic Total Station, and Data Collectors
- Post survey field data analysis
- Coordinate surveying department personnel and schedule on a weekly basis
- Respond to CGA Municipal Clients regarding survey matters
- Provide Development Review Committee (DRC) reviews for survey, plats and site plan documents for our Municipal Clients
- Provide high quality service to clients
- Traditional Boundary Land Surveying and Platting

- As-Built Surveys
- Topographic/design Surveys
- Construction Surveys
- Global Positioning Systems (GPS)
- Easement Preparation and Descriptions
- Platting
- Legal Descriptions
- Registered as a Professional Surveyor Mapper (PSM) in Florida is required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering, and construction industry
- Ability to meet project deadlines within given budget limits
- Desire to succeed and excel in a fast‑paced work environment
- Experience in the use of state‑of‑the‑art laser scanning and GPS equipment, as well as traditional survey equipment
- Experience with new survey technology to continue innovating solutions for survey projects
