Software Engineer – Robotics & Automation (100% Travel Role)
We’re seeking a hands‑on, high‑impact Software Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is excited by the challenge of bringing advanced automation systems to life across customer sites nationwide.
Job Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test electrical, networking, and hardware systems in real‑world environments
- Integrate and connect customer systems with third‑party platforms for seamless operation and online validation
- Execute station testing to ensure optimal system performance and production readiness
- Run end‑to‑end order testing and support manufacturing workflows in live environments
- Lead customer handoff processes, ensuring systems are fully operational and approved
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and customer teams to deliver results under tight timelines
- Strong experience in robotics, automation, or hardware troubleshooting
- Hands‑on expertise with test equipment, electronics, and oscilloscopes
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and system integration
- Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields
- Ability to operate in a 50% hardware / 50% software environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
- Experience in robotics automation systems
- Prior work in manufacturing or production environments
- Exposure to system validation, commissioning, or deployment
- 100% travel role – live and work at different customer sites nationwide
- Relocation to a new project location every 3–4 months
- Must live within 30 minutes of a major metro airport (East Coast preferred)
- Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with flexibility for off‑hours and weekends

Contract position based out of Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
