• 0–4 years of CAD experience (Entry level with no experience may be considered).
• Preferred: 4 years of bridge engineering drafting.
• Proficiency in Micro Station and AutoCAD drafting software.
• Preferred:
  Autodesk Inventor.
• Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting and Design (Preferred).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and other team members and to effectively communicate ideas.

• Assist with the development of 3‑D design models.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for transportation projects such as bridges and highways, working from discussions, sketches, or notes.
• Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles using cross‑sections and surveys to represent elevations, topographic contours, subsurface formations, and structures.
• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to develop contract plans.
• Correlate and interpret data obtained from topographic surveys and borings reports.
• Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages according to required methods and specifications for reproduction, using blueprinting, photography, or other duplicating methods.
• Maintain technically current methodologies.
• Acquire and apply new knowledge to assignments and tasks.
• Calculate Pay Item quantities.
• Perform additional tasks, assignments, duties, as assigned.
