Value Engineer m​/w​/d

Job Title

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing existing products in terms of material costs, functions, and specifications at component and system level (make-to-buy)
• Conducting design-to-cost and should-cost analyses
• Identifying cost-saving potentials at component and system level
• Supporting platform and module strategies as well as developing and implementing cost-down roadmaps
• Coordinating reverse engineering & benchmarking, among other tasks
• Managing product cost reduction measures in the implementation phase

• Successfully completed master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering / mechatronics / electrical engineering or equivalent)

• Understanding of component and system architectures, manufacturing and assembly processes
