Overview
Our Ft. Lauderdale office is looking for an engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our Traffic Safety Engineering team.
ResponsibilitiesThis position will help support the growth of our traffic safety team while actively participating in task management, problem solving, marketing and client interaction.
Qualifications- 2 or more years of experience in safety and traffic operations studies
- Experience in crash data analysis, collision diagrams, and Highway Safety Manual methods
- Proficiency in Micro Station, CADD, Synchro, and HCS software applications
- Knowledge of FDOT traffic and design guidelines is desirable
- Experience in GIS and transportation planning
- Excellent communication skills and experience in preparing technical reports
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects
- Retirement contributions include a 2-to-1 401(k) match on the first 4% and a discretionary profit-sharing contribution
- Profit sharing in 2020 was 10%, leading to an employer contribution of 18% (variable based on profits of firm)
