Mechanical Project Engineer
A growing and innovative multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Mechanical Project Engineer for their Fort Lauderdale, Florida team! Responsibilities include performing heating and cooling load calculations, developing sections and elevations of complex ductwork/piping areas, developing equipment room sizes, editing specifications, understanding fan/pump curves, using the psychrometric chart, meeting with vendors, coordinating with other disciplines, responding to RFI's, reviewing submittals, understanding work planning, managing the design process, modifying sequences of operations, understanding constant and variable flow systems, meeting with contractors, performing field verification, and taking offs of existing systems for renovation projects.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience, EI or PE License, experience designing a variety of projects, proficiency in Revit, and salary is commensurate with experience.
