What You'll Do- Design electrical schematics and control panels using AutoCAD.
- Select electrical components (PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, relays, etc.) based on customer requirements and budget.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each machine.
- Program PLCs to control machine operations.
- Program HMIs so operators can run and monitor the equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot machines before shipment.
- Provide technical support to customers during installation or after startup.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, assembly technicians, and customers throughout the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical controls, automation, or machine design.
- Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
- Experience programming HMI interfaces.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design and control panel layouts.
- Experience generating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and selecting electrical components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
