Electrical Engineer P.E.
We are seeking an experienced, licensed Electrical Engineer P.E. to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with a Florida P.E. license and a strong background in electrical design for residential and commercial buildings, including high-rise projects
. Candidates must have experience working for MEP engineering firms in the U.S.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering/design experience
- Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Experience working for MEP engineering firms
- Strong experience with residential and commercial building projects
- High-rise building design experience required
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD/CAD
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering design, codes, and standards
- Spanish bilingual skills preferred
- Lead electrical engineering and design for residential and commercial building projects
- Develop electrical plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documents
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and clients
- Review designs and provide technical guidance to project teams
- Maintain strong client relationships and respond effectively to project needs
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineering staff
- Ensure projects are completed on time or ahead of schedule and meet quality standards
This is a leadership-track position for an experienced engineer with the potential to become the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department within approximately one year
