RoleSummary
Vacatia is seeking a strategic and results‑driven Manager of Collections – Mortgage Department to lead our mortgage collections team in Fort Lauderdale. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, reducing delinquency rates, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance excellence. You will balance financial recovery objectives with a high‑touch owner experience, creating processes and accountability structures that strengthen both cash flow and brand reputation.

Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing mortgage collections team focused on delinquency reduction and owner experience.
- Design and optimize collection strategies that proactively mitigate risk and improve recovery rates.
- Ensure full compliance with FDCPA, TCPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze delinquency trends and present performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve servicing systems, automation, and process efficiencies.
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage collections or consumer finance, including supervisory leadership.
- Working knowledge of debt collection regulations including FDCPA and related compliance standards.
- Experience with Concord or similar mortgage and collections platforms.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; ACA or CCA certification is a plus.
