Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position requires a strong background in accounting and finance, along with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership. As a long-term contract role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Net Suite, Excel, and the ability to handle complex financial processes while actively contributing to organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.

- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.

- Prepare and deliver high-level presentations to executives, owners, and board members.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

- Utilize Net Suite to streamline financial workflows and maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement effective financial strategies.

- Document and refine department processes, creating detailed SOPs for operational efficiency.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

- Automate and improve financial reporting systems to enhance productivity.

- Roll up your sleeves to address complex accounting challenges and support the team as needed. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.

- Proficiency in Net Suite and advanced Excel skills.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to executives and stakeholders.

- Proven experience in managing month-end close and journal entries.

- Capability to document and improve processes effectively.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in an on-site office environment.
