• Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted business partner to the President & CEO.
• Play a critical role in shaping the long-term financial sustainability and growth of a respected nonprofit organization.
• Lead both Finance and Human Resources, providing broad executive leadership exposure.
• Present directly to the Board of Trustees and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.
• Oversee a diverse financial environment including grants, endowments, investments, and capital projects.
• Drive organizational improvements through enhanced financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Gain visibility across major initiatives, exhibitions, community programs, and special events.
• Lead annual audit, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts that directly impact organizational success.
• Partner with external stakeholders including foundations, banks, legal counsel, auditors, and funding sources.

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and treasury operations.
• Oversee Human Resources, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Manage grant reporting, restricted funds, endowments, and capital project accounting.
• Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, and IRS Form 990 preparation.
• Serve as liaison to the Board Finance Committee and provide financial insights to leadership.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, risk management programs, and vendor relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, and fiscal management.
• Prior supervisory and team leadership experience.
• MUST have experience with non-profit and grants
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and internal controls.
