OPS Government Operations Consultant

The Florida Department of Health seeks an OPS Government Operations Consultant I to serve as the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) Coordinator in Broward County. This full-time, in-office position will facilitate OFR Committee activities funded by a CDC Overdose Data to Action grant, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to review fatal overdose cases and develop prevention strategies. The coordinator will manage data collection and quality assurance, schedule monthly meetings, compile case materials for review, and develop data-driven presentations and reports.

• Valid driver's license and access to automobile for travel to multiple sites
• Bachelor's degree in public administration, health care administration, behavioral health, social work, psychology, or related field
• 2+ years professional experience in overdose prevention strategies
• 2+ years professional experience developing presentations and facilitating large meetings with stakeholders
• Ability to abstract, validate, and synthesize fatality review data with high accuracy
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across public health, public safety, and community partners
