The Assistant Manager – Aveda Salon is a full-time, on-site role based at our Fort Lauderdale, FL location. This role supports the Salon Manager in overseeing daily operations, including coordinating stylist schedules, ensuring service quality, and maintaining an inviting, clean, and organized salon environment. The Assistant Manager helps lead, coach, and motivate the stylist team, reinforcing Aveda standards and Source Salon’s guest-focused culture.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with hiring and onboarding, monitoring retail and backbar inventory, and supporting sales and promotional activities. The role also involves handling guest inquiries, resolving service issues, and modeling outstanding customer service and professional conduct.

  Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Leadership and staffing:
  Candidates should possess skills in hiring and team support, including interviewing, onboarding, and helping guide stylist performance.
• Additional beneficial qualifications:
  Prior salon or spa management experience; familiarity with salon booking and POS systems; ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; strong organizational and problem-solving skills; valid cosmetology license in the state of Florida preferred.
