• Interpret prescriptions, clarify orders with prescribers or patients, and ensure timely order processing.
• Guide, mentor, and oversee pharmacy technicians while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.
• Manage day-to-day mail-order operations, including inventory, workflow organization, and prescription transfers.
• Provide exceptional patient support—answering medication questions, addressing issues, and preventing drug interactions.
• Verify prescription entries and support quality assurance across all pharmacist and technician workflows.
• Collaborate with the team to prioritize workload, streamline processes, and enhance patient experience.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Step in to support order entry, refill authorizations, and call queues as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

• Education: B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Licenses: Active FL pharmacist license plus at least 4 additional states
  • Highly desired: CA and IL licenses
• Skills & Qualities:
  • Strong communication skills (verbal + written)
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Comfortable training and supervising staff
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
  • Problem solver with a calm, patient-focused approach
  • Thrives in startup environments, flexible with change
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as business needs evolve

• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods, walk, bend
• Lift or carry up to 25 lbs

• On-site role at our Fort Lauderdale distribution center
