Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

We currently have a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL looking for an Interventional Radiographer (Traveling Interventional Radiographer). The role involves operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer
• Independent decision‑making skills
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees
• Capability to maintain regular attendance
• Meet all local health regulations and complete a post‑offer health assessment
• Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, hearing and responding to pages; reading, writing, communication, calmness under stress, and sensory discrimination

At least 2 years of experience

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems related to modalities
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care
• Capture relevant exam information at the time of the exam
• Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence
