• Work in a Level I Trauma Emergency Department setting
• Night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) with every other weekend required
• Care for high-acuity trauma patients in the Trauma Bay
• Utilize Cerner and Epic electronic medical records
• Complete P/F EKG testing and basic arrhythmia assessment prior to start
• Locals considered within a 60‑mile radius at a different rate
• Provide independent emergency nursing care of trauma patients
• Finish pre‑start modules and orientation documentation
• Maintain a smoke‑free work environment
• Rehire policy requires former permanent employees to have been separated for at least two years
• Vaccination requirements must be met; no declinations allowed
• Dress code: scrubs or uniform supplied by facility

• Active Florida or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA required
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• 3–5 years of Level I Trauma ER experience required
• Ability to function independently caring for Level I trauma patients
• Degree from an accredited nursing school or institution approved by FBON with two years of recent consecutive acute care experience in a U.S. hospital
• Experience with both Cerner and Epic EMR systems required
• Pass EKG/dysrhythmia testing with high accuracy prior to start
• No degrees from Operation Nightingale Schools accepted
• Proof of vaccination status must be provided
