Job Description
Diagnostic Imaging Director needed for a hospital setting. Candidates must have strong experience as Director of Radiology/Imaging, with at least 7+ years in hospitals with 250+ beds.
- Responsible for the operations of the assigned department.
- Demonstrate productive and efficient management skills.
- Excel in identifying and controlling critical cost elements; thereby promoting quality awareness and achieving the highest standard of excellence.
- Assist in formulating departmental budgets and adhering to established standards.
- Ensure performance improvement initiatives are implemented.
- Monitor staff performance.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient care standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required;
Master’s degree in related field preferred. - Minimum 7 years progressive management experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Must have strong knowledge in budgeting, staffing, program development, physician relations, policy and procedures, etc., with strong accomplishments and results.
- ARRT, BS, Master’s strongly preferred.
