PRN CT Technologist Float

The CT Technologist is responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality CT studies, ensuring effective communication with customers, including radiologists. In some instances, they train new technologists and/or patient coordinators.

• Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections, and aseptic injection techniques.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Effectively communicate with customers and/or radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and all peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, etc.).

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience;
  Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist by the ARRT.
• State license in medical imaging if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Technologists performing mid‑day moves.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
• Active state driver’s license if required for mid‑day moves.
• The COVID‑19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.

• More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs; see, speak and hear to communicate with patients.
• Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift (ability to move non‑ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam).
