Behavior Companion (Adult Day Program)

• Provides a stimulating, safe and healthy learning environment as a one‑to‑one companion for a particular participant.
• Implements treatment plans as prescribed by Behavior Analysis.
• Monitors program implementation and provides feedback related to implementation proficiencies.
• Models program implementation, when appropriate, for other direct support staff.
• Collects data and monitors data collection for accuracy.
• Partners with the behavior analyst and provides feedback regarding client performance.
• Acts as lead staff during behavioral interventions.

• High School Diploma and some college coursework.
• Must complete a successful Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities required.
• ABA 20‑hour certification preferred, required within first 3 months of employment.
• Registered Behavior Technician preferred.
