Schedule:
36 or 40 guaranteed hours per week; includes 1 call shift per week and 2 weekend shifts (12 hours each) per month
Highlights:
Advanced surgical focus with strong emphasis on robotics (Da Vinci Xi, Mako), orthopedic, and neurological procedures
18 operating rooms with diverse case mix including minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and complex specialty surgeries
Epic EMR system preferred; orientation provided with 40 hours of onboarding
Teaching facility environment supporting professional development and mentorship opportunities
Float within scope to meet facility needs; collaboration across specialties
First-time travelers welcome with strong clinical background
Requirements:
Active Florida RN license or pending license (accepted)
Minimum 2 years of direct Operating Room RN experience required
Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurological OR experience required
ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submission
NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
Nicotine-free status required; 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) testing within 12 months of start
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Willingness to participate in teaching and training activities with students and new staff
Completion of time-sensitive pre-start modules (non-billable, 6-15 hours average)
EKG and pharmacology testing during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
