Description:

This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist.
The unit consists of 4 rooms with 1 patient per room.
The total staff on the unit includes 22 members, comprised of RNs and Techs.
During the day shift, the staff includes 1 Charge RN and 4 members per room, totaling 16 staff.
The night shift operates with an on-call team consisting of 3 members per call team, adding up to 7 total.
Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1.
All equipment in the unit is GE brand.
The electronic medical records are managed using Meditech and Mac Lab.

Candidates must possess skills in Special Procedures and GE Innova.
The typical procedures performed in this unit include cardiac catheterizations, cerebella angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures.
Ideal candidates should be team players, able to work in a close-knit environment, and demonstrate critical thinking with a focus on patient care.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to the unit's needs.
On-call shifts are frequent, necessitating flexibility.
Surgical scrubs are required attire, which will be provided.
The unit is recognized for its well-run operations and is committed to developing relationships with staff and patients.
