Summary
The Manager, Business Operations – Urgent Care oversees and coordinates business operations for the urgent care center. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of Physician Office Specialists (POS) and clinical team members, including medical assistants, nurses, and providers, as well as oversight of daily clinic operations, staffing coordination, workflow optimization, and performance management to ensure efficient operations, excellent customer service, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance.
Serves as project manager for assigned tasks related to Physician Business Office operations. Work to resolve issues to ensure prompt payment of claims and adherence to compliance regulations. Must possess the knowledge to ensure compliant billing, collections, cash posting/reconciliation in order to conduct self-audits and implement actions based on findings to maintain the quality and integrity of Broward Health while supporting the financial viability.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five years of related practice management, or clinic business operations manager experience.
- Urgent Care experience a plus.
