Summary
The Manager, Business Operations – Urgent Care oversees and coordinates business operations for the urgent care center. This role supervises Physician Office Specialists (POS) and clinical team members—including medical assistants, nurses, and providers—while overseeing daily clinic operations, staffing coordination, workflow optimization, and performance management. The manager ensures efficient operations, excellent customer service, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance. They serve as project manager for assigned tasks related to Physician Business Office operations and work to resolve issues to ensure prompt payment of claims and adherence to compliance regulations.
The manager must possess knowledge to ensure compliant billing, collections, cash posting/reconciliation to conduct self‑audits and implement actions based on findings to maintain the quality and integrity of Broward Health while supporting financial viability.

Education- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Five years of related practice management, or clinic business operations manager experience.
- Urgent Care experience a plus.
