Housekeeping Supervisor Floor PM | Part Time

Omni Hotels & Resorts – Fort Lauderdale Hotel

Opening in Fall 2025, the Omni Fort Lauderdale will provide a 29‑story hotel, 801 guest rooms and suites, a rooftop bar, a pool, spa, fitness center, and over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre‑function meeting space with waterfront views.

Job Description

Be a part of the pre‑opening team and ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, back‑of‑house and landing meet Omni 4 Star/4 Diamond standards.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
  • Inspect the cleanliness of guest hallways.
  • Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
  • Work in a coordinator capacity as needed.
  • Report needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
  • Assist in training all new housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure all GRA’s have appropriate supplies and linens.
  • Assist in cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
  • Assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
  • Ensure the GRA’s cart is neat and well‑organized.
  • Ensure that linen closets on guest‑room floors are completely stocked.
  • Maintain supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.
  • Ensure all guest rooms are punched in via the phone or electronic device after completion.
  • Ensure guest‑room doors are held open with a door stopper when needed.
  • Ensure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.
  • Ensure check‑out rooms are a priority.
  • Have knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
  • Ensure hotel, guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping and/or other relevant hotel experience.
  • Able to maintain a Diamond level cleanliness standard.
  • Able to work with management on special projects.
  • Able to set priorities for your section.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Fast paced.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Environment & Position Analysis
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs.
Tools & Equipment
  • Telephone, mobile device, push‑to‑talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop, broom, duster, and chemicals.
