About Omni Fort Lauderdale
Opening in Fall 2025, Omni Fort Lauderdale will provide South Florida with 120,000 square feet of event space, new food and beverage options, a Natural Spring‑inspired full‑service spa, and an entertainment pedestrian plaza featuring high‑end shopping, an amphitheater, charter boat docking, and a beautiful promenade. The new iconic landmark offers unforgettable views of the Atlantic, unrivaled convenience, and intelligently designed meeting spaces.
The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, immediately adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal, and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
Be a part of the pre‑opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel! The hospitality property is a 29‑story hotel located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center. The hotel will feature 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center, as well as over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms, and pre‑function meeting spaces with waterfront views.
The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for servicing and cleaning vacant or occupied guest rooms in accordance with Omni standards. Opening for the Fall 2025 schedule with 18 openings available.
- Respond to all guest requests appropriately.
- Complete full service for assigned rooms within allotted time.
- Keep the supply cart neat and organized at all times.
- Store the supply cart in the guest room with the door shut while the room is being serviced.
- Place the Room Attendant sign on the outside of the guest door while the room is being serviced.
- Use the door stopper whenever the guest door is open.
- Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Remove room service tables and trays from the guest room and floors.
- Remove dirty linen and dispose of it in the designated area.
- Follow Lost and Found procedures to ensure the safe return of guest belongings.
- Punch guest rooms into the phone before and after cleaning.
- Keep guest hallways neat and free of linen at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
- Clean VIP rooms first, as they take priority.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for the hotel, guests, and associates.
- Ability to maintain a 4‑Diamond level of service.
- Ability to work with Management on special projects.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Repetitive motion of arms, hands, and back.
- Phone, push‑to‑talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop and broom, duster, and chemicals.
