This role offers meaningful, real-world HR experience and the opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments in a fast-paced, professional environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about talent acquisition and people operations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Talent Acquisition:
• Monitor and respond to candidate inquiries via phone, email, or system means
• Work within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) entering new data, daily updates, and candidate information obtained through candidate interaction to ensure the system is current; run reports as needed
• Perform welcome calls and send welcome emails to candidates prior to start dates Interdepartmental Communication:
• Communicate closely with DOT Compliance Team to help ensure timely-scheduled physicals and drug screens as necessary
• Collaborate and coordinate with HR, Safety, IT, and Communications departments to ensure a positive day one experience Talent Administration:
• Assist with scheduling orientation site and notify all involved departments; prepare and clean up orientation rooms
• Assist with maintaining, constructing, and ordering supplies for new hire welcome gifts; order and ensure delivery of orientation lunches
• Obtain and distribute Day 2 Instructions from hiring managers to new hires
• Support Talent Acquisition Department with special projects, occasional development resources, and implementation of healthy change across the organization Location & Travel Requirement:
• This position requires splitting time between company offices in Doral and Davie. The intern must have a reliable personal vehicle and be able to travel between locations as needed to support recruiting and onboarding activities. Global Responsibilities

• This job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needs Qualifications Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Persuing a Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources focus Experience
• Administrative support experience preferred Skills/Abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in the handling of confidential information
• Proficient in problem solving and self-directed Working Conditions
• Operates within a professional office environment
• Routine usage of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
• Able to remain calm in high pressure situations
Physical Requirements
• Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
