We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented HR Manager / Business Partner to join our People team to support our US operations. This role will be responsible for strategically partnering with business leaders, overseeing the full employee life cycle, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently, employment legislation is adhered to and maintaining a consistent and high-quality employee experience. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business, who can manage multiple priorities with discretion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws across the U.S.
  • Own employee relations, investigations, and escalation management.
  • Advise leadership on performance issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Drive performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Support with payroll and reporting changes for promotions, pay rises, and job changes in Tri Net.
  • Prepare and maintain regular HR KPI reports.
  • Ensure systems are accurately maintained including tracking and managing timesheets, time-off approvals, and updates for U.S. staff.
  • Provide leadership and direction across HR operations and benefits.
  • Mitigate organizational risk through proactive HR practices.
  • Identify operational gaps and drive continuous process improvement.
Key Experience / Skills Required
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Sound judgement and ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with Tri Net highly desirable
