Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Administrator – Data Cloud will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of Salesforce environments, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and enterprise data integration. This role requires deep hands‑on experience with Data Cloud segmentation, activation, identity resolution, and Snowflake zero‑copy and connector‑based integrations, along with strong capabilities in automation, user support, and data governance.

Experience with Experience Cloud is also preferred to support end‑to‑end customer engagement use cases.

Essential Functions
  • Lead Salesforce initiatives with a strong focus on Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, segmentation, activation, and scalable architecture best practices.
  • Deliver complex, end‑to‑end Salesforce CRM solutions leveraging Data Cloud ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation for marketing and downstream systems.
  • Design and support Data Cloud‑to‑Marketing Cloud activation pipelines, ensuring accurate audience counts, refresh schedules, and campaign readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Data Cloud segments, activations, Marketing Cloud Journeys, Audience Builder, and cross‑cloud data synchronization.
  • Review quarterly Salesforce releases with a focus on new Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and connector enhancements, providing recommendations for adoption.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and enablement content to support Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud user adoption.
  • Partner with business leaders to maximize value from Data Cloud‑powered personalization, real‑time activation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Lead system implementation and enhancement projects involving Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Snowflake integrations, and external data sources.
  • Monitor and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud performance, including segment execution times, activation latency, data refresh cycles, and journey processing.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to large data volumes, segmentation logic, Snowflake integrations, and cross‑cloud activations.
  • Partner with Salesforce Support and internal teams to troubleshoot scalability, caching, and throughput issues impacting Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud operations.
Data Cloud Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Data Ingestion, Data Harmonization, Identity Resolution, and Profile Unification using Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Create and manage Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Transformation, Query Editor, Calculated Insights, Segments and Segment Refresh Strategies.
  • Activations to Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and external destinations.
  • Configure and manage Snowflake zero‑copy integrations, along with other Data Cloud connectors (S3, CRM, Marketing Cloud, APIs, file‑based ingestion).
  • Evaluate and optimize segment performance, activation accuracy, and data freshness.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, consent alignment, and compliance across all Data Cloud data sources.
  • Partner with analytics and IT teams to onboard new data sources and manage schema evolution.
  • Support real‑time and batch activation use cases across marketing, sales, and service channels.
  • Define and maintain data mappings, transformations, and orchestration logic for unified customer profiles.
  • Build KPIs and support analytics use cases using Calculated Insights and downstream BI tools.
Marketing Cloud Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and manage Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Cloud Pages, and Audience Builder.
