Automotive Technical Support Specialist

Vaco is hiring for an Automotive Technical Support Specialist

Location: Broward County, FL

Schedule: Option of 5 days / 8 hours or 4 days / 10 hours

Compensation: $33-$40/hour

Important: This is not an IT helpdesk role. This position supports customers with automotive and electromechanical product-related inquiries. Candidates must have experience in automotive, mobility, mechanical, or electromechanical environments.

This role is responsible for delivering a high-level customer experience while providing technical support related to specialized automotive products. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically knowledgeable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and written correspondence
• Provide product-related technical support and troubleshooting guidance
• Process product and service orders, including RMAs
• Maintain accurate documentation within CRM/ERP systems
• Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing order and invoice records
• Ensure timely and accurate order entry and follow-through
• Maintain professionalism and strong customer engagement at all times
• Support internal team operations as needed

• Associate's Degree preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in automotive customer service, inside sales, or technical support
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and product troubleshooting
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
• Electromechanical aptitude highly preferred
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and documenting technical cases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Analytical problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
