Job Summary
We are seeking IT Technicians for a temporary election support project in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. This is a great opportunity for candidates with help desk support, desktop support, computer technician, or technical troubleshooting experience to assist with an important community-focused initiative during election season. The IT Technician will support technology setup, troubleshooting, equipment deployment, and related IT functions in a professional office environment.
This assignment offers steady weekday hours, hands‑on technical work, and the opportunity to contribute to a high‑visibility public service project. Candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting users, systems, and equipment in a fast‑paced environment are encouraged to apply.
- Provide technical support and assistance as directed by the Information Technology Department.
- Assist with computer setup, desktop troubleshooting, equipment deployment, and related IT support tasks.
- Support election operations and technology initiatives by following established procedures and project guidelines.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, to complete documentation, communication, and data entry tasks.
- Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail while supporting time‑sensitive project needs.
- Lift, move, and organize computer equipment or related technology items up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Pay rate: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.

July 7, 2026 through August 25, 2026. - Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional evening and weekend hours may be required with advance notice. - Location:
