Overview
Red River Managed Services is seeking a Systems Support Engineer II to provide premium IT support to senior executives and high-profile clients at our Florida location. The role focuses on ensuring seamless technology experiences for VIP users and office staff.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and AV equipment.
- Offer proactive maintenance to prevent disruptions, including software updates and optimizations.
- Manage and troubleshoot collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, etc.) and productivity applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Provide onsite and remote IT support for board meetings, conferences, and high-profile events, including AV and conference‑room technology.
- Validate VIP device inventory, manage upgrades, and orchestrate replacements.
- Prioritize and resolve Service Now incidents and requests, coordinating with vendors and internal teams for escalations.
- Ensure compliance with customer IT security policies, educate users on cybersecurity best practices, and implement multi‑factor authentication.
- Required:
U.S. Citizenship. - Certifications:
ITIL, Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator, Apple ACSP, or CompTIA A+. - Experience:
Supporting C‑level executives or high‑profile clients and their assistants in an enterprise environment. - Knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, networking, VPNs, and enterprise security practices.
- Experience with ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira) and remote troubleshooting tools.
- 5+ years of IT support or related field experience.
- Familiarity with AV systems, video conferencing, and executive meeting‑room technology.
- Exceptional customer service, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and deliver solutions quickly.
- Technical troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Proactive maintenance and system optimization.
- Collaboration tool administration (Teams, Zoom, Slack).
- Remote access configuration (VPN, MDM, MFA).
- Asset and incident management.
- Security awareness and compliance enforcement.
