Manager, Ethics & Compliance Governance & Monitoring

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Ethics & Compliance Governance & Monitoring to join our LRMC (Legal Risk Management & Compliance) – E&C (Ethics & Compliance) organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive execution of Ethics & Compliance (E&C) governance and monitoring activities within the E&C roadmap, including aggregating data from multiple sources and tracking KPIs/KRIs, compliance issues, and remediation status to inform leadership reporting
  • Maintain a centralized register of key compliance risks to drive effective reporting and mitigating activities on the highest compliance risks
  • Manage the execution of a rigorous, standardized root cause analysis discipline to ensure underlying systemic issues are accurately identified rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms
  • Maintain centralized tracking and governance of E&C remediation actions across the firm to ensure clear ownership, visibility and accountability for timely and effective remediation
  • Partner with digital organizations to create and leverage predictive analytics to surface emerging risks and potential mitigation actions, contributing data and insights to the unified compliance health dashboard
  • Support process improvement and standardization efforts, including evaluation of controls and governance processes, and enhancing efficiency in monitoring and reporting activities
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum six years of recent progressive experience in ethics and compliance, internal audit, enterprise risk management, or a related regulatory field, preferably within a professional services firm or highly regulated industry
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Familiarity with risk management, internal controls, applicable legal/regulatory requirements, and data/reporting tools (for example, Excel, PowerBI), including experience working with firm AI tools, preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience developing or utilizing KRIs, KCIs, and compliance dashboards to drive strategic decision-making
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management and organizational skills, including managing work streams and meeting deadlines
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to ask insightful questions, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and lead deep-dive assessments
