The Oracle Fusion Architect will be part of the Finance IS team and will serve as the senior functional architect for Moss's enterprise Oracle Fusion Financials platform, driving end‑to‑end solution design, configuration, and optimization across all core financial modules. This role is critical to enabling accurate financial reporting, streamlined transactional processing, and scalable planning and consolidation capabilities as Moss continues to grow.
The architect will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, PMO, and IT leadership to align Oracle Fusion capabilities with strategic business priorities and will play a key role in shaping the company's EPM roadmap.
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Intercompany, and Expenses.
- Define and maintain the enterprise chart of accounts, ledger structures, legal entities, business units, and reporting hierarchies.
- Configure subledger accounting (SLA) rules, journal approval workflows, payment processing, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Lead period-close optimization efforts, including automation of recurring journals, allocations, revaluations, and eliminations.
- Ensure seamless integration between ERP Financials and upstream/downstream systems (Procurement, Project Portfolio Management, Payroll, and third‑party platforms).
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, OTBI/BIP reports, and Smart View extracts to support executive and operational reporting needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, collaborating with end users and IT teams to ensure minimal disruption.
- Architect and configure Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, including Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/ePBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
- Design planning models, forms, business rules, and calculation scripts to support budgeting, forecasting, and what‑if analysis.
- Configure FCCS consolidation rules, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and ownership management.
- Implement ARCS reconciliation formats, matching rules, and variance thresholds to streamline the monthly close process.
- Integrate EPM with ERP Financials via data management (FDMEE/Data Integration) to ensure a seamless flow between actuals and planning data.
- Support integration activities using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST APIs for third‑party systems such as construction management, payroll, and banking platforms.
- Collaborate with integration and data teams to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient data exchange between systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving integration‑related issues promptly.
- Mentor junior Team Members by providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth in Oracle Fusion and EPM technologies.
