Purchasing

Our client, an established and growing Aviation Company, is seeking a Purchasing professional to join their team. As a Purchasing specialist, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the operations of a busy repair station. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $20.00- $25.00

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable procurement channels.
• Work with established supplier base to obtain pricing and delivery information.
• Execute purchasing functions to procure inventory parts and supplies efficiently.
• Coordinate with stores and operations to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Perform cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and recommend economic alternatives.

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a purchasing role, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and data entry skills; experience with Quantum is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; stable work history and professional appearance required.
