Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of necessary materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials necessary for our operations, including paper goods, packaging materials, and other supplies.
  • Research potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future material needs to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and supplier developments to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize the procurement process and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the procurement function.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in relevant industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with procurement software or systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to procurement and supply chain management.
