Operate a high-pressure washing system to clean large areas, such as buildings, walkways, and various surfaces. Ensure water supply, solution, chemicals, and other supplies are sufficient for projects and daily usage while following all Encompass standards and safety regulations. Our ideal candidate has industry experience, can work independently, and is willing to drive to different job site locations.
Examples Of Essential Duties- Operate pressure washing equipment and tools to clean surfaces such as buildings, sidewalks, driveways, decks, fences, vehicles, and other designated areas.
- Inspect the surfaces to be cleaned and identify any areas that require special attention or caution.
- Set up and prepare the pressure washing equipment, including connecting hoses, nozzles, and other accessories.
- Adjust the pressure and flow of water based on the type of surface being cleaned to ensure effective and safe cleaning.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions or detergents when necessary to enhance the cleaning process.
- Remove loose dirt and debris manually or with a broom before starting the pressure washing.
- Safely maneuver the pressure washing equipment and direct the high-pressure water spray over the surfaces, maintaining proper technique and distance to avoid damage.
- Pay attention to detail and ensure thorough cleaning, especially in hard‑to‑reach areas, corners, and edges.
- Monitor the progress of the cleaning process and adjust as needed to achieve desired results.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain and troubleshoot the pressure washing equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as work orders or service reports, accurately and promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer concerns or questions regarding the pressure washing process.
- Follow environmentally friendly practices and dispose of wastewater and cleaning solutions in accordance with local regulations.
- At the end of the shift, clean and store all equipment to prepare for the next shift or day.
- Collaborate with team members and assist in other duties or tasks as assigned.
- Represent Encompass in a positive manner; follow oral instructions, be pleasant, tactful, courteous, and cooperative with supervisors, co‑workers, residents, and client staff.
- Accomplish all responsibilities without supervision after the training period is completed and ensure no injury to oneself or others.
- Fully understand and complete all in‑service training.
- Clock in and out and adhere to attendance policy, consistently embodying the company’s mission, vision, and core values.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Speak, read, and write English/Spanish effectively.
- Cooperate with other employees and perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pressure washing or similar cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating pressure washing equipment and knowledge of different nozzle types.
- Understanding of cleaning techniques, surface compatibility, and appropriate pressure levels for various surfaces.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow guidelines to prevent accidents or damage.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods and lift/move heavy equipment if required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality cleaning results.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Requires physical ability to bend, stoop, and reach; lift more than 50 lbs several times per shift.
- Perform repetitive motions.
- Work above and below waist with repetitive motion.
- Operate and control all equipment necessary for the tasks.
- Pull, push, carry weight up to 50 pounds, twist, bend, reach from floor to waist height and from waist to above head.

Work hours:
Monday through Friday 6:00 pm–2:30 am. Weekends as needed.
