Housekeeper for Luxury Residential Property

This Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas of the property so that the property is maintained in a clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying condition. The Housekeeper may be required to perform tasks such as following the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing or moving objects/materials and/or cleaning the assigned areas of the facility.

• Operate various cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
• Maintain facility in a clean and sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
• Require working in damp, dusty, and dirty areas.
• Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials. Empties trash containers.
• Handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
• Plan work schedule for major tasks.
• Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
• Wet mop floors in assigned areas, including bathrooms daily. Damp mop all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, and others daily.
• Clean restrooms, wash basins, mirrors, commodes, counter tops, urinals, tubs, and showers daily. Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and counters.
• Check all assigned areas daily to keep fresh.
• Clean air vents.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).
• Wash windows as scheduled.
• Strip and recoat all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.
• Check areas for spills, water, etc. periodically, especially in bathrooms.
• Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
• Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred).
