Beach House Fort Lauderdale, A Hilton Resort is looking for a General Mechanic who is experienced in HVAC/Refrigeration and with general knowledge of electrical, plumbing and painting to join their Engineering team. This 374-room hotel is located three miles from Las Olas Boulevard, offers a full-service spa, multiple dining options and an outdoor pool with private cabanas.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience, combined with general knowledge of electrical, plumbing and painting, and the ability to work a varied hospitality schedule.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.

Shift Pattern: This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work varying shifts across weekdays, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
