Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Vice President of Commercial Jets on behalf of one of our global leading clients in private jet charter and bespoke aviation solutions, based in Fort Lauderdale. This senior leadership role is a unique opportunity to lead commercial jet sales, expand market presence, and shape the growth of a dynamic, global aviation business.

The Vice President of Commercial Jets will lead the commercial jet sales team, manage high-value client relationships, and develop strategies to grow revenue and market share. This role combines hands‑on deal‑making with leadership, business development, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the commercial jets market.
  • Oversee complex charter transactions from aircraft selection to contract negotiation and completion.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the commercial sales team, ensuring professional and timely handling of client inquiries.
  • Represent the company at industry events, client functions, and strategic networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless execution of charter flights and alignment with business goals.
  • Contribute to business development projects, marketing campaigns, and service enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation management, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in private aviation charter sales with commercial aircraft focus, including team management.
  • Proven record of achieving/exceeding revenue targets in competitive aviation sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high‑value deals.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team‑building skills.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. and global commercial aircraft charter markets, pricing, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional client representation.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel as needed.
