Seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the month-end close and support quarterly and annual financial reporting. Applicants must come from a public accounting background and must have prior team leadership experience (will be managing a team of two).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules
- Supervise and develop accounting staff (2+ years of leadership required)
- Partner with external auditors on audits, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and close procedures
- Perform general ledger analysis and support process improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally across departments
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of corporate accounting experience required
- 2+ years of supervisory experience required
- CPA preferred
- Experience with SEC reporting, SOX, and external audits preferred
