Senior Product Development Manager, Beauty & Personal Care

eskiin is one of America’s fastest-growing beauty and wellness brands. Since launching in 2024, we’ve grown from zero to 9 figures in annual revenue by creating products that genuinely improve people’s everyday routines. We’re expanding the brand and building an entirely new line of shower and body care products. We’re looking for an exceptional product development operator to help us build it.

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on product development professional to take new beauty and personal care products from initial concept through commercial production. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the day-to-day execution of product development across formulation, sampling, packaging, sourcing, testing, costing, manufacturing and commercialization.

This is an individual contributor role, not a people-management role. We want someone who wants to personally drive the work and take full ownership of getting exceptional products to market.

Speed matters here. A lot.

We operate with a level of urgency that will feel very different from traditional beauty companies. We run work streams in parallel, make decisions quickly and expect meaningful progress every week.

This environment will not be right for everyone. If you prefer long planning cycles, layers of approvals or waiting for one stage to be completely finished before starting the next, you will probably not enjoy this role.

If you are highly resourceful, decisive and energized by turning ambitious product concepts into finished products at an unusually fast pace, you probably will. We will never sacrifice product quality for speed. We expect both.

• Personally drive multiple beauty and personal care products from concept through commercial production
• Translate product concepts into clear, actionable development briefs
• Source and work directly with formulators, chemists, labs, contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers
• Drive formulation, sampling, evaluation and rapid rounds of iteration
• Lead packaging development, sourcing, decoration and component compatibility
• Coordinate stability, compatibility, microbial and other required testing
• Support regulatory compliance and product claims with the appropriate partners
• Own product costing and negotiate COGS, MOQs, lead times and supplier terms
• Build aggressive but achievable development timelines and hold external partners accountable
• Identify the critical path for every product and run work streams in parallel wherever possible
• Anticipate bottlenecks before they threaten launch dates
• Find alternative suppliers and solutions when the original path isn’t moving fast enough
• Work closely with creative, operations and marketing through commercialization and launch
• Maintain complete ownership until finished inventory is ready to sell

• You have significant hands-on experience developing beauty, skincare, haircare, body care or personal care products
• You have personally taken multiple formulated products from concept through commercial production
• You are an executor who creates momentum and knows how to keep development moving
• You move with urgency and are comfortable making decisions quickly
• When something stalls, you find out why, solve the problem and keep moving
• When a supplier gives you an unacceptable timeline, you look for alternatives instead of simply accepting the delay
• You instinctively run work streams in parallel whenever possible to accelerate development
• You are highly resourceful and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
• You don’t need to be reminded to follow up. You are usually the person doing the following up
• You care deeply about product quality and details without allowing perfection to become an excuse for slow execution
• You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
