Manufacturing Operator (2nd shift)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM EST (Includes two 30-min lunch breaks)

Training

Schedule:

First 2–3 days run 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST before transitioning to the 2nd shift

Duration: 6 months (temp-to-perm potential based on performance and openings)

Pay Rate: $25.30/hr

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate, disassemble, and clean pharmaceutical tablet manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct batch record reconciliation, in-process testing, and quality monitoring per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP/FDA guidelines.
• Perform equipment changeovers, prepare solutions, and troubleshoot basic processing issues.
• Maintain complete and accurate production logbooks and batch documentation.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Education & Experience:
  
  High School Diploma/GED required; 0–1+ years of manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical environment preferred).
• Skills:
  
  Fluent in English; strong mechanical aptitude; proficiency in following SOPs and strict safety regulations.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, perform routine physical labor (standing, bending, reaching), and climb ladders/lifts up to 15 ft 2–3 times per week. Willingness to wear a respirator if required.

Required Pre-Employment Screenings

• Basic Background Check & 11-Panel Drug Screen (with Fentanyl).
• Comprehensive Medical Screening:
  Vision, Vital Signs, Urine Dip, Whisper Test, Audiogram, Spirometry/Respirator Fit, and 30 lb Lifting Assessment.
