Material Handler - 2nd Shift 00 Shift Differential

Position: Material Handler I - 2nd Shift - $22.10/hr + $1.00 Shift Differential

Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11PM, OT as needed.*
* ** What you will do*
* Under general supervision, responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts and supplies along with maintaining records of materials/inventory.

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Supports production material requirement needs

+ Maintains records of received goods, alerting appropriate personnel to inspect unsatisfactory items when necessary

+ Will lift and move heavy items and may operate a forklift

+ May prepare goods for final shipment and/or production assembly

+ May examine, stock and/or distribute goods in inventory and/or in other areas

+ May enter information into the inventory management system

+ May train others in distribution related tasks and inventory control methods and practices

+ Assists in physical inventories

+ Performs periodic cycle counts on a pre-determined basis

+ Determine part disposition

+ Assists in inventory accuracy, control and reduction

+ Performs periodic cycle counts on a pre-determined basis

+ On-time completion of required training

* Preferred

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing or Warehouse environment

$22.10/hr + $1.00 Shift Differential plus bonus potential and benefits.
